There are “the former Sabeolwangneung royal tomb”, “the former Goryeong Gayawangneung royal tomb”, “Hwadali 3-story pagoda”, the great commander in Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, Jeong Ki-ryong General's tomb namely “Chunguisa”, “Donam Seowon” and many other cultural sites. Also there are Sangju gliding site, “MBC Drama Sangdo” shooting site (Jungdong), and Sangju Art Village, which are highlighted for relaxing and sightseeing with family (stone pagoda and loess road).

Jangak Falls

Hokukseongji was the first place where the first main forces fought by Joseon Central Command and Japanese troops in 1592 (Imjin War).
